Custom domains

Open a service → Domains → Add a custom domain. Then create two DNS records at your DNS provider:

  1. Point the domain at us — either
    • CNAME app.example.com → <your default subdomain> (for subdomains), or
    • A example.com → <server IP shown in the panel> (for a root domain)
  2. Prove you own it — a TXT record _weserver-verify.app.example.com with the token shown in the panel.

Press Verify. DNS changes can take a few minutes. Once verified, the domain is attached and an HTTPS certificate is issued automatically.

If you use Cloudflare, keep the record DNS only (grey cloud) at least until the certificate is issued.

We re-check verified domains every 6 hours and email you if a domain stops pointing to your service.
